If you have ever noticed your grade dropping in gym, you might be wondering why its dropping. This may give you a couple of ideas why your grade, is becoming a brick.

Effort
Effort is one of the major things that the teachers grade you on. If you don't do anything in the class, the teachers will see this and they will drop your marks due to this. For example, if you were to listen with all your attention in the world, but during the actual activity, you sit in the corner and do nothing. This alone will drop your mark by the end of the semester by 30%.

Listening
Listening is one of the other major things that teachers grade you on as they really like to have your attention. This can drop your grade by a good 15% as not paying attention is considered rude and looked down upon by teachers in any class. The best way to seem like you are listening is by looking at the teacher and nodding your head occasionally to make it look although you care.

Encouraging others

Encouraging others is in the criteria that you need to get an A in PHE class. In order for you to meet this criteria, you have to find the people that are standing in corners, and try and encourage them to join into the game. If you do not meet this criteria, you will not have any of your mark drop, however, if you do it you can get extra grades, which can push you towards passing the class, or even ace it.

These are all of the grading criteria that will make your grade dramatically drop, and how to change it so you do not fail the class.
