There are many types of projects that have happened since however long ago, here are some of the major projects that get covered in drama class
The twisted fairy tale project
The twisted fairy tale project was a project that was based on fairy tales such as Hansel and Grettle, or Rapunzel. This specific story is going to be based on the twisted story of The Big Bad Wolf, where the wolf needs a replacement heart to cure his disease, and the pigs have access to guns. I'm sure you can see where this is going but I will continue to say the end where the wolf approached the house, and when the pig came out, he blasted off the wolf's arm. The actor for the wolf had a fake arm on and so when they pretended to shoot at it, the actor whipped the arm into the crowd to give the effect that the arm had been blasted off by a shotgun. Unfortunately for the group, the arm hit the teacher and made her make a bunch of jokes about how real the scene felt.
Miming
During my time in drama, I had a project called miming. This was very difficult as I had to try and make the entire audience understand what I was portraying out of midair. If even one person didn't get it, the whole show would be a failure. We had to base it on 3 guys going shopping. We then had to portray three objects. I cannot remember what the first one was, but I do remember the other two, which consisted of gasoline and a matchbox. You can already see where this went but we had to pretend that my friend was on fire. Overall it was a very fun project.
Accents
The final one is accents. We had to go up on stage and perform different accents. When the class got it, we gained a point. The team with the most points would be the winner. Me being british, I got to portray their accent. Which everyone got immidiately once I asked the audience for a "spot of tea."
