Highlights:
You might've signed yourself up for home economics because of all your friends saying that it was fun, but what do you actually learn? Read all about it below
Cooking/baking
One of the best parts of home economics is that you can learn how to bake and cook. This covers a wide majority of dishes, such as chicken, beef, turkey, and on the baking side, you get to learn how to make different cakes, cookies, and other delish foods that are enjoyed by different cultures.
Sewing
One of the other things that you will learn in home economics is the usage of sewing machines, and how to sew using only your hands, a needle and string. This is usually put towards the future when you accidently rip a shirt. In general, this class practices on different pieces of loose fabric and gets the students to try and do the best sew job possible.
Healthiness
One of the final things that you will learn in home economics is keeping yourself healthy. This can include how to make healthy choices with food, with exercises, and just keeping a balanced diet. This will help you down the road so that you don't become unhealthy and suffer from diabetes, and other health concerns that involve unhealthiness.
