There are very specific times that the band class gets to perform for the whole school, here are some of the events that they regularly get to perform at

Remembrance day

Remembrance day is a time where the whole school gets to listen and respect the stories that are passed from generation to generation for WW1 and WW2. During this assembly, the band class has an opening song to play while the classes pile into the gym. When the place settles down a bit, the class plays O Canada while someone sings. This year, they played a song near the end of the assembly to remember and give proper thanks to the soldiers that battled in the war. At the end they play an exiting song, so the place isn't just filled with sounds of footsteps.

Christmas

The Christmas concert happens every year where the band class plays a bunch of songs based on the theme of christmas. This includes songs such as jingle bells, deck the halls, jingle bell rock, etc. It is mainly just to make sure all the students get hyped for winter break.

End of year

The end of year performance happens for the palmer awards where specific students get awards for exceeding in specific places, such as math, art, or volunteer hours. The band class only plays during the entry of the classes, and the exit of the classes. During this time, the songs played are usually random, and mainly based to show off the different musical pieces that they learned that year.
