What foods/baked goods do you make?

Learn about some of the dishes that the home economics class usually makes.

During Home Economics, the class has to prepare dishes for grades. In order for this to happen, the teacher will give you a dish, and you have to prepare it. Here's some of the dishes that the class makes

Cookies is the thing that all classes will make no matter if you want to or not. Cookies that are usually made are chocolate chip, double chocolate, granola raisin, etc. These are usually one of the first things that you will learn how to bake in home ec Due to its simplicity.

Chicken, beef, turkey

These are the three main meats that you will learn how to cook. These are usually prepared with meals that come with broccoli, rice, asparagus, and other vegetables. The beef however, will usually be prepared into a delish burger that you get to enjoy after you have made it, and class ends.

Cakes

There are all types of cakes that you get to make in home economics. This can include chocolate cake, cheesecake, ice cream cake, etc. Usually, this is taught close to midterms as it takes a while for you to understand how to really bake stuff and how it is made. During this time however, all students get a slice of their creation, and they get to taste the desert that they have made.
