Art projects of the past

Learn about some of the past art projects that the art class had done

During art, you get to to a bunch of art projects including skills such as drawing, painting, sculpting, molding, etc. These are the best ones that I have witnessed around the school.

The bumper car project

The bumper car project was a old project that was a sculpting project based on bumper cars. You had to create your own design on paper and once you have drawn it, you have to make a 3D model of it using old boxes and plastic waste, paper mache and paint. A lot of the cars included designs such as nightmare fuel, cute animals, and redesigns of cars such as the dodge challenger. This project took weeks and was on display a while ago.

Clay tiles

Clay tiles were a project that included clay, and a creative mindset when it comes to bugs. The end goal of the project was to create a tile that has a resemblance of a bug. This was one of the projects that took a while for everyone to do because everyone took too long remodelling, smoothing, and generally coming up with a design. Once it had been finished however, it was a beautiful scene as the teacher molded all of the clay tiles together to create this wonderful landscape.

Watch project

The final project that I found very creative was the watch project. The students would get paint, and cardboard to model their own style of watch, which could be abstract, it could have the resemblance of a watch, or it could be something on top of the watch face that makes it look like a watch, but it isn't. When it was put all together onto a table, they didn't really match too well, however, they confused a lot of audiences with its randomness.

These are all of the best art projects that have been made in the art class.
